Innovation

With technology constantly changing, learning how to use your new gadget can be time consuming as well as frustrating.

Many of the staff are able to assist at selected times with your new e-reader, tablet, laptop or even how to use a computer for everyday needs.

This includes learning to set up your e-reader and register for downloading books to take away on that holiday.

Please ensure your device is charged prior to attending as the library does not provide extension power leads.

Spring into action

The local Wildflower Society will be conducting an open discussion on Friday the 26th of September 2014, at 5.30 pm to discuss local flora: identifying the good, the bad and the ugly. There will a booklet handed out which will accompany a screened presentation.

Questions may be directed to the organiser's after the presentation.

There will be light snacks and drinks provided upon conclusion of the evening.

Due to space constraints within the Library it is essential to book a place.

Contact in person, via phone or email. Bookings will be confirmed closer to the date of the event.

The end of winter warmers

While the much needed rain is still with us, perhaps now is a good time to catch up on that fireside reading.

There are plenty of new titles available from some of the most popular authors and some interesting new titles.

Perhaps a good movie or a favourite television series is more inviting on a chilly night.

Looking for something special - let the helpful staff know!
